What a Mini Session Is

A mini session is a 20–30-minute focused session designed to create movement around one belief or emotional block.

What Happens in a Mini Session

Mini sessions are 20–30 minutes and focus on one specific belief, emotion, or area where you feel stuck.

Many sessions focus on working with affirmations.


Example process:

 

  1. Client identifies an affirmation they want to believe.
  2. Laura identifies the resistance behind it.
  3. They work through the internal voice that challenges the affirmation.
  4. EFT tapping clears emotional resistance.
  5. The belief begins to shift.


Example issue types:


  • Confidence
  • Worthiness
  • Aging beliefs
  • Fear of change
  • Feeling stuck
  • Lack of clarity


This is not a deep trauma processing session. It is meant to create movement and insight.

A Gentle Way to Experience This Work

Bite Sized Shifting

Sometimes you don’t need to bring your whole life story. Sometimes one belief, one emotion, or one moment of feeling stuck is enough to begin creating real change.


Mini sessions are short, focused sessions designed to help you experience how emotional and energetic healing work can shift things more quickly than you might expect. 


These sessions are a beautiful introduction to the work I do with women who want to release limiting beliefs and trapped emotions so they can move through midlife with more clarity, confidence, and ease.

How a Mini Session Works

 You may come in with something like:

"I want to believe I am confident."

"I want to trust my body."

"I want to feel calm instead of overwhelmed."


During the session we explore what is happening underneath that belief.

Often there is a voice in the back of your mind that says:

"That’s not true."

"You can’t do that."

"You’re not good enough."


That voice is what prevents affirmations from working.


Using EFT tapping, we gently work with the emotions and beliefs connected to that inner resistance so the affirmation can begin to feel more real in your body and mind.


Sometimes we may also use Emotion Code techniques depending on what your body responds to best.

Why Affirmations Often Don’t Work

Many people have tried repeating affirmations in the mirror or writing them down daily. But if the subconscious mind is still holding on to the opposite belief, the mind often pushes back.


You might notice thoughts like:

"This isn't true."

 "This won't work."

 "This isn't me."


When those beliefs are not addressed, affirmations can actually make that inner resistance louder. In a mini session we address that resistance directly so that your mind and nervous system can begin to shift.

Mini sessions are designed to be focused and supportive.

You can expect:

  • A safe and grounded conversation
  •  Gentle emotional exploration
  •  EFT tapping to release resistance
  •  A shift in how the belief feels in your body
  •  Greater clarity around what may be holding you back


Many people leave feeling lighter, calmer, or more clear than when they arrived.

Even small shifts can create powerful momentum.

What Mini Sessions Are Best For

 Mini sessions work best for one focused issue such as:

  • Feeling stuck in a decision
  • A belief you want to change
  • Confidence challenges
  • Emotional stress or overwhelm
  • Wanting to believe something new about yourself


These sessions are intentionally focused and are not designed to process deep trauma or large life histories.

They are about creating movement and insight.

My work often resonates most with women in midlife who are beginning to notice old beliefs and emotional patterns that no longer serve them. Women who are ready to release what they have been carrying for years so they can move forward with more freedom, clarity, and confidence.
